The rules of engagement.

These terms describe how the regaliavowstech.com website may be used and the framework that governs studio engagements. Specific projects are governed by the bespoke contracts we sign with each client; in case of conflict the project contract prevails.

1. About these terms

By using this site you accept the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, please don’t use the site. The site is provided by Regalia Vows Tech, an independent studio incorporated in the United Arab Emirates.

2. Engagements and scope

Information on this site about our capabilities, packages and indicative pricing is for guidance only. A binding engagement starts only when both parties sign a project contract setting out scope, deliverables, timeline and price. We work to that contract, and any change in scope is recorded as a written change order.

3. Intellectual property

On full payment and unless otherwise stated in the project contract, all deliverables produced specifically for you become your property. We retain ownership of underlying tools, frameworks and methodologies we developed independently, and we keep the right to feature finished work in our portfolio after launch unless you ask us not to.

4. Payment

Project work is invoiced according to the milestone schedule in the contract. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may pause active work and incur a fair recovery fee in line with UAE commercial practice.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties keep each other’s non-public business information confidential during and after the engagement. Confidential information may be disclosed only to people who need to know it to perform the work and who are bound by equivalent obligations. This clause survives the end of the engagement for three years.

6. Warranty and quality

We perform the work with reasonable skill and care, using qualified people and current best practice. Where deliverables include software, we warrant that they are free from material defects at the point of acceptance and we will fix any defects reported within 30 days of acceptance at no additional cost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid to us for that engagement in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement on 30 days’ written notice. We will be paid for work done up to the termination date and for any non-cancellable commitments we made on your behalf. We will hand over work-in-progress in a usable state and assist a reasonable handover for up to 30 days at our standard rate.

9. Use of this website

You may browse the site for any lawful purpose. You may not scrape it, attempt to access systems you are not authorised to use, upload malicious content via any forms, or use the site in any way that breaches applicable law. We may suspend access to anyone who breaches these rules.

10. Third-party content

Where the site links to or embeds content from third parties (case studies, client trademarks, articles, social media), the third parties retain ownership of their material and govern its use under their own terms. We make every effort to credit accurately.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our practice or the law changes. The current version is the one published on this page; the date at the top reflects the last revision. Substantive changes that affect existing engagements will always be agreed in writing on the project contract.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute is to be resolved by the courts of Dubai, unless the parties have agreed an alternative forum in the relevant project contract.
